a1vin, Christensen and EXTRACT OF '1IcNUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF TIIE VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW, MI.Th ESO 'A Pursuant to due call and notice tizereof, a special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of I•lounds View, Minnesota, was held t the Red Oak School in said Village on Monday, August 29 1960, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., wi u followinj members present: Crane, and the following members absent: Member Christensen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: 4 5Se- /5f RESOLUTION ORDERING WATERWORKS IMPROVEMENT NO. 1960 -3 AND DIRECTING THE ENGINEER TO PREPARE DETAILED PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. BE IT RESOLVED By the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota, as follows: (1) That Waterworks Improvement No. 1960 -3 is hereby ordered; and (2) That the detailed plans and specifications heretofore prepared by Comstock Davis, Inc., consulting engineers, are hereby approved and ordered filed. (3) That this Council shall meet on *.,,,r!r SAn 2:. 1960, at o'clock P. M., at the Tad Ca Se :col in the Village of Mounds View, for the purpose of receiving and con- sidering sealed bids for the construction of said improvement, and the Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of said meeting to be published in the official newspaper and in the Con- struction Bulletin, published at Minneapolis, Minnesota, once at least three weeks prior to the date of said meeting, which notice shall specify the time and place of the meeting, the nature of the work, that sealed bids for said work must be received by the Village Clerk prior to the time of said meeting, accompanied by a cashier's or certified check or bid bond in the amount of at least 7S of the respective bids, that the Council reserves the right to hold such bids for a period of 40 days without award and the right to reject any and all bids without explanation and to waive any informalities.
