RESOLUTION NO 1-147 <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION OF APPROVAL RELATING TO THE NORTH <br />SUBURBAN SANITARY SEWER DISTRICT ACT. <br />WHEREAS there is now enacted by the Legislature of the State <br />of Minnesota a certain Special Law which is to be known and cited as the <br />"NORTH SUBURBAN SANITARY SEWER DISTRICT ACT" and which has been <br />designated as LAWS 1961 EXTRA SESSION, Chapter 90, and, <br />WHEREAS by the terms and provisions of said Act in Sec. 9, <br />Subd. 1 thereof the Act takes effect "when approved by a majority of the <br />governing body of at least four of the following municipalities: the <br />villages of Brooklyn Park, Blaine, Mounds View, Spring Lake Park, and <br />the cities of Coon Rapids and Fridley, and upon compliance with LAWS <br />1959, Chapter 368 and, <br />WHEREAS the Village of Mounds View, as one of the municipalities <br />affected thereby desires to approve such law and obtain the benefit thereof, <br />together with each of the other municipalities so named and affected, <br />and approve the same, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Council of the Village of <br />Mounds View: <br />Section 1: That the Village of Mounds View, acting by and through <br />a majority of its governing body, and as one of the municipalities <br />affected thereby, does hereby approve on its part that certain Special Law <br />of LAWS 1961 EXTRA SESSION, Chapter 90, to be known and cited as the <br />"NORTH SUBURBAN SANITARY SEWER DISTRICT ACT and does further request <br />the approval of such Special Law by a majority cf the governing body of <br />each of the other municipalities named therein and similarly affected. <br />Section 2: That the Village Clerk is authorized and airected to <br />furnish a copy of this resolution to the chief clerical officer of each cf <br />the other municipalities, and further, to file with the Secretary of State <br />of the State of Minnesota a certificate in form prescribed by the <br />Attorney General and furnished by the Secretary of State, stating the <br />essential facts necessary to valid approval, including a copy of this <br />
