EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING CIF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota was held at the Village Hall on the 10th day of December, 1962 at 8:00 P.M. with the following members present: Crane, Blanchard, Malvin, Sullivan and Hodges and the following members absent: none Member Malvin introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: A RESOLUTION MODIFYING ASSESSMENTS FOR AREA WATER, LATERAL WATER AND WATER SERVICE. /i4 WHEREAS, The Village Council has determined that certain assessments are to be divided, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the following list of divisions a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accept and shall constitute the special assessment_ acain the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein is hereby found to be benefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. 2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of fifteen years, the first of the installments to be payable on or after the first Monday in January, 1961 and shall bear interest at the rate of 6 per cent per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1961. To each subsequent installment when due shall be added i nterest for one year on all unpaid installments. 3. The owner of any property do .assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such property, with interest accured to the date of payment, to the Village T :asurer, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution; and he may at any time thereafter, pay to the County Treasurer the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accured to December 31 of the year in which such payment is made.
