EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />Village Council of the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota was held at the Village <br />Hall in said Village on the 14th da; of October, 1963 at 8 :00 o'clock p.m. with <br />the following persons present: Hodges, Blanchard, Sullivan, i .7a1vin <br />and the following persons absent: <br />ne <br />Member Blanchard introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />A RESOLUTION MODIFYING ASSESSMENTS FOR AREA WATER, <br />135 LATERAL WATER AND WATER IMPR0VEHENT 61 -1. <br />WHEREAS, The V llage Council has determined that certain assessments <br />are to be modified or divided, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the following list of <br />modifications and divisions, a copy of which is attached hereto and made <br />a part here is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment <br />against the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein included is <br />hereby found to be benefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of <br />the assessment levied against it. <br />2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments <br />extending over a period of fifteen years, the first of the insta3:..ments to be <br />payable on or after the first Monday in January, 1961 and shall bear interest <br />at the rate of 6 per cent per annum from the date of the adoption of this <br />assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on <br />the entire assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1961. <br />To each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest for one year <br />on all unpaid installments. <br />3. The owner of my property so assessed may, at any time prior to <br />certification of the assessment to the county auditor, pay the whole of the <br />assessment on such property, with interest accrued to the date of payment, to <br />the Village Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire <br />assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution; and he <br />
