<br />$1, 575,000 Temporary Improvement Bonds
<br />Village of Mounds View
<br />Ramsey County, Minnesota
<br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village of Mounds
<br />View, Minnesota, will meet at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway 10 in said Village,on
<br />Tuesday, the 14th day of July, 1964, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., to receive, open and
<br />consider sealed bids for the purchase of $1,575,000 General Obligation Temporary
<br />Improvement Bonds of the Village to be issued pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sec-
<br />tion 429.091, Subdivision 3, for the purpose of financing part of the cost of a
<br />sanitary sewer improvement for said Village.
<br />Said bonds will be dated August 1, 1964, in denominations to be specified
<br />by the purchaser, will mature on August 1, 1966, without option of prior payment,
<br />and will bear interest at a rate to be designated by the purchaser in multiples of
<br />1/4 or 1 /10 of 1% per annum, payable on February 1, 1965 and semiannually thereafter
<br />on each August 1 and February 1. All bonds shall bear interest at a single basic
<br />mte from date of issue until paid, but in addition may bear interest at an addi-
<br />tional rate for a limited period, in total amount not to exceed $15,750, interest
<br />at such additional rate to be represented by "B" coupons. Principal and interest
<br />will be payable at a suitable bank to be designated by the purchaser.
<br />The Village will furnish without cost to the purchaser the printed and
<br />executed bonds and the approving legal opinion of Messrs. Dorsey, Owen, Marquart,
<br />Windhorst West, of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Delivery will be made within 40 days
<br />after said date of sale in Minneapols or St. Paul, Minnesota, or in Chicago, Illi-
<br />nois without cost to the purchaser, or elsewhere at the purchaser'sexpense.
<br />Sealed bids marked "Bid for $1,575,000 Bonds" may be mailed or delivered
<br />to the undersigned Village Clerk, and must be received prior to the time of said
<br />meeting. Each bid must be unconditional except as to legality, in which respect
<br />bids may be conditioned upon the opinion of the above attorneys, and must be ac-
<br />companied by a cashier's or certified check in the amount of $31,500, payable to
<br />the Village Treasurer, to be retained by the Village as liquidated damages if the
<br />bid is accepted and the bidder fails to comply therewith.
<br />No bid of less than par and accrued interest will be considered. Bids
<br />will be compared on the basis of the lowest net interest cost from date of issue
<br />to maturity, less the premium, if any. No oral bids will be considered.
<br />The Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive
<br />any informality in any bid.
