l�l <br />RJSOLUTION 185 <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN MUNICIPALITY AND <br />COUNTY FOR FEDERAL -AID HIGHWAY <br />IMPROVEMENT <br />THIS AGREEMENT made by the (C (Village) of Moundaview <br />Minnesota, hereinafter called the "Municipality" with the County of <br />pAMc: hereinafter called the "County WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, the United States Government, through the Bureau of Public <br />Roads of the Department of Commerce does apportion Federal funds for the con- <br />struction, reconstruction and improvement of highway projects on approved systems <br />of public roads, and <br />WHEREAS, said State Aid Highways within the limits of a Municipality <br />are now or may be eligible for the participation of these Federal funds in their <br />improvement or construction, and <br />WHEREAS, the Bureau of Public Roads as a condition to the use of <br />Federal funds on approved State Aid Projects requires the agreement of the <br />Municipality to control road signs, traffic control devices, advertising signs, <br />miscellaneous installations, speed and parking, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Municipality in consideration of the expendi- <br />ture and use of Federal funds for the construction, reconstruction, or improve- <br />ment of any State Aid Highway within the limits of the Municipality agrees with <br />the County as follows: <br />(1) No signs, traffic control devices or other protective struc- <br />tures shall be erected on any Federal -aid Secondary project within the Munici- <br />pality limits except as shall conform with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control <br />Devices dated August 1948, prepared by the American Association of State Highway <br />Officials, approved by the State of Minnesota, and concurred in by the <br />Commissioner of Public Roads, or any subsequent revisions. <br />(2) All right of way within the limits of the Municipality on any <br />
