day of <br />Village Clerk <br />RESOLUTION NO. 378 <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION PROVIDING WORKMEN'S COMPENSATION COVERAGE <br />FOR ALL OFFICERS OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW ELECTED <br />OR APPOINTED FOR A REGULAR TERM. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 176.01 Subdivision 9 (5) <br />defines employee for the purposes of workmen's compensation coverage, said <br />definition stating that an officer of a political subdivision elected or appointed <br />for a regular term shall be included only after the governing body of the political <br />subdivision has adopted an ordinance or resolution to that effect, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to Minnesota Statutes <br />Chapter 176.011, Subdivision 9 (5) that all officers of the Village of Mounds View <br />elected or appointed for a regular term shall be provided protection under the <br />workmen's compensation law of the State of Minnesota, now or hereafter in effect. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk forward a certified copy of this <br />resolution to the workmen's compensation insurance carrier. <br />The above resolution was moved by Member Johnson and seconded by <br />Member Malvin <br />those voting against: <br />Those voting in favor: Johnson, Malvin, Walser <br />those not present: Rustad, Lang <br />None <br />whereupon the Mayor declared that the resolution was duly adopted the 10th <br />June 1968. <br />j <br />Mayor <br />
