RESOLUTION NO. 459 <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />At a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village <br />of Mounds View held on the 13th day of October 1969, at 8:00 o'clock <br />P.M., at the Village Hall located at 2401 Highway 10, Mounds View, <br />Minnesota, with the following members present: Rustad, Blanchard, <br />Hodges and Johnson <br />and the following members absent: Malvin <br />Member Blanchard moved the following resolution: <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF <br />CONTRACTS FOR WATER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />1968 -3, HUD PROJECT WS -4 -24 -0045 VILLAGE <br />OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Mounds View has ordered and authorized <br />Water Improvement Project 1968 -3 (HUD Project WS -4 -24 -0045) and <br />WHEREAS the Administrative Clerk was authorized to advertise <br />for bids and pursuant to said advertisement bids were received, accepted, <br />and reviewed by the Village Council and the Village Staff, <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the following award of <br />contracts be made and that the duly authorized officers of the Village <br />are hereby authorized to execute said contracts pursuant to law. <br />1. Schedule B. 2,000,000 gallon reservoir and booster station. <br />Contract awarded to Peterson Templin Inc., <br />Crystal, Minnesota in the amount of $317,278.00. <br />2. Schedule C. Watermain Extensions. <br />Contract awarded to Krohn Drainage Co., Slayton, <br />Minnesota in the amount of $271,101.14. <br />3. Schedule D. 500,000 gallon elevated water tank. <br />Contract awarded to Universal Tank and Iron Works, <br />Rural Route 8, Box 360, Indianapolis, Indiana <br />in the amount of $147,890.00. <br />4. Schedule E. Four deep wells. <br />Contract awarded to Layne Minnesota Company, <br />3147 California Street N.E., Minneapolis for <br />the following wells: <br />
