At a regular meeting of the Council of the Village of Mounds View held on <br />the 13th day of July, 1970, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., at the Village Hall located at <br />2401 Highway 10, New Brighton, Minnesota 55112, with the following members present: <br />Malvin, Hodges, Blanchard, Neisen <br />and the following members absent: Rustad <br />Member Neisen moved the following resolution: <br />AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA <br />TO ACT AS CONVEYOR AND GRANTEE FOR THE MOUNDS V' 'W <br />INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT 621. <br />WHEREAS, The Edgewood Junior High School of the Mounds View Independent <br />School District 621 is submitting an application for funding of Community Resources <br />in a Comprehensive Program for Junior High Underachievers. <br />WHEREAS, The Mounds View Independent School District 621 has requested <br />the Village of Mounds View to act as Conveyor and Grantee for this program. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village of Mounds View act <br />as Conveyor and Grantee for the Community Resources in a Comprehensive Program <br />for Junior High Underachievers and administer and convey the funds in behalf of <br />Edgewood Junior High School and the Mounds View Independent School District 621 <br />for the period of July 1, 1970 to JUL,: 30, 1971. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Village Clerk- Administrator, Mr. Dennis S. Zylla <br />is hereby authorized and directed to execute such an agreement as requested by the <br />Governor's Commission on Crime Prevention and Control to implement said program. <br />Member Hodges seconded the resolution.
