(2) The City prohibits the installation or placement of inflatable signs and devices or balloons on building roofs. Window Signs: In the interest of public safety, the City requires that commercial or retail businesses operating in the B -1, B -2, B -3 or B -4 zoning districts meet the following regulations and requirements governing signs placed upon window interiors. Such window signage shall not obscure or block from view that area of a window or door between four feet (4') and seven feet (7') from the interior floor level, unless such area does not offer any visibility to interior public space. Campaign Signs: Subject to Minnesota Statutes, the following regulations shall apply to all campaign signs for political candidates or issues: (Ord. 679, 5- 29 -01) a. No more than one (1) sign shall be erected per candidate or issue along each street frontage of any parcel of land. Campaign signs shall not be allowed on public property. (Ord. 679, 5- 29 -01) b. Campaign signs shall not exceed twelve (12) square feet and not exceed four feet (4') in height above the ground; except, where such signs are located no closer than one hundred fifty feet (150') to the property line of a residential dwelling, the maximum size shall be thirty two (32) square feet, and the maximum height above the ground shall be six feet (6').
