RESOLUTION 7697 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING ADDITIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE CONTRIBUTIONS <br /> FOR NON -UNION AND PUBLIC WORKS BARGAINING GROUP EMPLOYEES <br /> WHEREAS, as a result of and in response to binding arbitration with the Law <br /> Enforcement Labor Services (LELS) Local 204, the City Council approved resolutions on <br /> October 25 which, in part, provided for retroactive increases to the monthly City health <br /> insurance contribution for members of both LELS 204 and LELS 232 bargaining groups; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council desires to maintain equity throughout the organization, <br /> and as such, would like to offer the same retroactive increases for non -union employees <br /> and members of the public works bargaining unit, who signed a contract through the end of <br /> 2011; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the amount of the additional contribution would be $25.13 per month <br /> per employee, bringing the total monthly contribution up to $867.33; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the increased contribution would be effective retroactive to January 1, <br /> 2010. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Mounds <br /> View does hereby approve the additional health insurance contribution of $25.13 per <br /> month for non -union employees and members of the public works bargaining unit, effective <br /> retroactive to January 1, 2010.
