The regular monthly meeting of the Village Council of the Village. of Mounds <br />'View was held June 3 1958 at the Mounds View Village Hall 1450 W. Highway 96. <br />The following members were present: <br />Mayor: <br />Clerk: <br />Deputy Clerk: <br />Trustees: <br />Treasurer: <br />June 3, 1958 <br />James W.' Gibson <br />Martha Irvine <br />Mary Jean Milbrandt <br />John L, Sullivan <br />Reuben G. Achterkirch <br />Ingram C. Rustad <br />Irene Edberg <br />The meeting was opened at 8;04 P.M. by Mayor, James <br />The minutes of the May 27th, May 23rd, May 14th and May 19th meetings were <br />read by the Clerk. Motion by Sullivan, seconded by Achterkirch to accept minutes <br />as read. The following voted aye—Achterkirch, Gibson, Irvine, Rusted and Sullivan <br />and the following nay -none. Motion carried. <br />Otto Bonestroo,!Engineer, showed the profile maps for Edgewood Drive and' <br />Bronson Drive to the' Council. The Council will meet June 11 'at 8:00 P.M. to <br />sider the speaifications4and advertise for bids. <br />Motion by Rusted, seconded by Irvine that all applicants for positions will be <br />considered on basis of qualifications: As a matter of policy idents will be <br />given preference if qualifications are met. Upon roll call the following vote was <br />taken Achterkirch, no; Gibson, abstain; Irvine, abstain; Rusted, yes; Sullivan, yes. <br />Motion lost. <br />Dog Catcher problem was referred to Trustee Rusted. <br />Motion by Sullivan, seconded by Achterkirch that the Council join the Ramsey <br />County Municipal Officials Association. Upon roll call the following vote was taken <br />Achterkirch,,yes; Gibson, yes; Irvine, yes; Rustad, yes; Sullivan, yes. Motion <br />carried. <br />Deputy Clerk instructed to issue dog licenses and building permits from the <br />Clerk's Office. <br />Deputy Clerk to have John Koontz, Town and Country Sign, furnish the village with <br />e small movable bulletin board and install a bulletin board on the NE corner of <br />County Road H2 and I'.nollwood, between mail boy and light pole. <br />Motion by Sullivan, seconded by Rusted that the following resolution be adopted:. <br />Resolved that the polling places for the Village of Founds View be as follows: Precinct <br />#1 the area South of highway 10— polling place Messiah Lutheran Church; Precinct #2 <br />the area North of Highway 10 and west of Long Lake Road polling place Redoak School; <br />Precinct #3 the area North of Highway 10 and east of Long Lake TE:ad polling place <br />Pinewood School. Preceding resolution subject to attorney's approval. Upon roll call <br />the following vote was taken Achterkirch, yes; Gibson, yes; Irvine, yes; Rusted, yes; <br />Sullivan. yes. Motion carried. <br />
