WHEREAS, at a meeting of the Village Council of Mounds View and upon the <br />recommendation of the Village Engineer, Otto Bonestroo, held on June 11, 1958, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Mounds View: <br />1. The improvement on Bronson Drive between the intersection of Bronson Drive <br />and Quincy Street west to the intersection of Bronson Drive and Adams Street <br />requiring the establishment of a full size street which necessitates rekrading. <br />widening, and resurfacing according to the specifications set up by the Village <br />Engineer, Otto Bonestroo, is hereby adopted. <br />2. The appropriate publications shall be made in the Construction Bulletin' <br />and legal newspaper June 18 and 19 for said road improvement in the amount of <br />$2500. <br />3. Said notices shall be published June 18 and 19 and the bids will be <br />open in the Village Ball on July 1, 1958 at 9:30 o'clock P.M. Said improvement <br />shall be paid by assessment of benefited property owners and /or from general <br />funds. <br />The above resolution was <moved by Achterkirch and seconded by Sullivan <br />and was duly passed and adopted this llth day of June, 1958. <br />Motion by Achterkirch, seconded by Rusted to issue a permit for a garage <br />at 55 Erickson Rd. (Lot 2, Block' 2, Spring Lake Park Highlands) subject to <br />the filing of a restriction with the Register of Deeds. Garage is being <br />placed 5 feet from the house, restriction will keep garage and house from being <br />attached at any 'late in the future. The following voted aye—Achterkirch, Gibson, <br />Irvine, Rustad and Sullivan." Motion carried. <br />Mr. Mueller appeared regarding rezoning of property at County Rd. H2 and <br />Fairchild. Informed as to rezoning procedure and given rezoning form. <br />Delegation from Twelve Oaks appeared protesting proposed rezoning of prover' <br />in Twelve Oaks. Informed that petition had not been presented as yet and after <br />the petition was presented a bearing would be held. <br />Motion by Rusted, seconded by Irvine to appoint Charles E. Jackson, Sr. <br />as Civil Defense Director. The following voted aye Achterkirch, Gibson, <br />Irvine, Rusted and Sullivan. Motion carried. <br />Trustee Rusted instructed to have speed signs and "hatch out for Children <br />eigns installed at Redoak School and near Grovelar_d and Sherwood. <br />Motion by Achterkirch, seconded by Rustad to join the "League of <br />Minnesota Municipalities The following voted aye e terkirch, Gibson, <br />Irvine, Rusted and Sullivan. Notion carried. <br />Motion by Rusted, seconded by Achterkirch that the Clerk's salary be <br />set at $50.00 a month.
