The following members were present: <br />and the following were also present: <br />July 15, 1958 <br />A special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View was <br />held July 15, 1958 at the Mounds View Village F 1450 W. Highway 96. <br />Mayor: James W. C-ibson <br />Clerk: Martha Irvine <br />Trustees: John L. Sullivan <br />Reuben G. Achterkirch (arrived 8:30) <br />Ingram C. Rustad <br />1 3 <br />Deputy Clerk. Mary Jean Milbrandt <br />Legal Counsel: Richard Meyers <br />The meeting was opened at 8:00 P.M. by Mayor, James W. Gibson. <br />Mr. Puglisi appeared regarding a sub- standard home located at 203E Bronson Drive. <br />The Council will look at the home and make recommendations to Mr. Puglisi as to how <br />he can bring the home up to code. <br />Motion by Sullivan, secomied by Rustad to accept the minutes of the July 1st <br />meeting as corrected. <br />Mr. George Aumer, 5420 Adams informed the Council as to a problem of water standing <br />in the road in front of his home. Referred to Trustee Rustad for action. <br />Mrs. Enga Richert, 8247 Spring Lake Rd. requested ififormation regarding access to <br />her property. Informed this required civil action and the Council could do nothing. <br />Mr. Rodney J. Wilson inquired about selling used and new cars at 1925 Highway 10 <br />in connection with the service station being operated there. Informed that the <br />Village has no Ordinance at the present regulating this operation but he should keep <br />in contact with the Council so there would be no conflict should the Council decide to <br />pass an ordinance in the future. <br />Motion by Irvine, seconded by Sullivan to pass Resolution 5 "Resolution <br />Establishing Municipal State Aid Street System 5 ayes. <br />Motion by Rustad, seconded by Achterkirch to pass Resolution 6 "Resolution <br />Establishing a Committee to Plan for the Physical Development of the Village and to <br />Recommend a Zoning Plan." 5 ayes. <br />Trustee Sullivan Recommended that John 0. Koontz be appointed as building <br />inspector for the Village. 5 ayes. <br />Trustee Rustad recommended that Robert Edmond be appointed as electrical inspector <br />for the Village effective August 15, 1958. 4 ayes, Sullivan abstained. <br />Trustee Sullivan recommended that George Oster be appointed as plumbing inspector <br />for the Village. 4 ayes, Rusted abstained. <br />
