16 <br />July 29, 1958 <br />A special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View was held July 29, <br />1958 at the Mounds View Village Hall, 1450 W. Highway 96. <br />The following members were present: <br />Mayor: <br />Clerk: <br />Trustees: <br />and the following member was absent <br />and the following were also present: <br />Deputy Clerk: <br />Legal Counsel: <br />The meeting was opened at 8:03 P.M. by Mayor, <br />Mr. and Mrs. Christensen: <br />School District 621 <br />Carlson- Lavine: <br />Village of Mounds View: <br />Special assessment meeting to be held August <br />Motion by Irvine, seconded by Rustad to adjourn <br />James W. Gibson <br />Martha Irvine <br />John L. Sullivan <br />Ingram C. Rustad <br />Reuben G. Achterkirch <br />Mary Jean Milbrandt <br />Richard Meyers <br />James W. Gibson. <br />Mr. McFadden, Assistant District Engineer of the Minnesota Department of Highways, <br />presented the maps of the proposed Highway #10. Motion by Sullivan, seconded by Rusted <br />to adopt resolution #7, accepting highway department plans. 4 ayes. Motion carried. <br />Motion by Irvine to have the attorney proceed with the legal steps necessary to <br />prevent obstruction of Arden Avenue and to perfect an easement where the present Arden <br />Ave, runs, if there is not a satisfactory response to a letter from the attorney to Don <br />Voge. Motion seconded by Sullivan. 4 ayes. Motion carried. <br />Motion by Sullivan, seconded by Rustad to have Clerk prepare assessment list as <br />follows'for public inspection: <br />231.47 <br />2,314.70 <br />925.88 <br />1,15 <br />S4,629.40 <br />19, 1958 at 8 :00 P.M. <br />4 ayes. Motion carried. <br />Motion by Sullivan, .econded by Rustad to table Ordinance 58, Dog Ordinanue until <br />August 5th meeting. 4 ayes. Motion carried. <br />Motion by Sullivan, seconded by Rustad to approve ainutes as corrected. <br />Motion by Irvine, seconded by Sullivan to reconsider Curfew Ordinance at August 5th <br />meeting. 4 ayes. Motion carried. <br />Motion by Irvine, seconded by Sullivan that not more than 2 council members should <br />be on the Planning commission: of the members of the committee who are not elected officials <br />of the Village, 3 members will serve a 1 year term, 3 members a two year term and 3 members a <br />3 year term. Terms will be arranged alphabetically until each member has a 3 year term. The <br />Attorney and Engineer to be ex- officio members of the committee. 4 ayes. Motion carried. <br />Motion by Irvine, seconded by Rusted to allow a $50.00 petty cash fund for the Planning <br />Coo;n1ttee. 4 ayes.
