The following members were present: <br />August 19, 1958 <br />Mayor: James W. Gibson <br />Clerk: Martha Irvine <br />Trustees: John L. Sullivan <br />Reuben G. Achterkirch <br />Absent: Ingram C. Rustad <br />and the following were also present: <br />Deputy Clerk: Mary Jean Milbran_dt <br />Legal Counsel: Richard Meyers <br />Engineer: Otto Bonestroo <br />The meeting was opened at 8:04 P.M. by Mayor, James W. Gibson. <br />19 <br />A special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View was held <br />August 19, 1958 at the Mounds View Village Hall, 1450 W. Highway 96. <br />Motion by Irvine, seconded by Achterkirch to set up a meeting with the Health <br />Officer to inspect the house located at 2036 Bronson Drive. 4 ayes. <br />Motion by Achterkirch, seconded by Sullivan to give Donald Walbridge, 5511 Ericson Rd. <br />up to 90 days to finish garage on his property. 4 ayes. <br />Motion by Irvine, seconded by Achterkirch to have attorney draw up resolution <br />designating special assessments for Edgewood Drive. 4 ayes. <br />Motion by Achterkirch, seconded by Sullivan that a barricade be put up at South end <br />of Edgewood Drive approximately 800 feet from its intersection with Woodale Drive. 4 ayes. <br />Motion by Irvine, seconded by Sullivan to have attorney and Deputy Clerk secure <br />easements from the school board and Christensens for road South of present Edgewood Drive <br />and to the school board for easement for road North of the new Junior High School. 4 ayes. <br />John Leight instructed to write letter to the Planning Commission requesting rezoning <br />of his property to allow for food stand. <br />Bernard Iblings instructed to write letter to the Planning Commission requesting <br />rezoning of his property to allow him to rent apartment in his basement, <br />Motion by Achterkirch to have culvert lowered on Lois Drive. Seconded by Irvine. <br />4 ayes. <br />Motion by Irvine to have the attorney draw up resolution setting up minimum needs <br />for state aid road system. +econded by Achtnrkirch. 4 ayes. <br />Motion by Achterkirel, seconded by Sullivan to accept state aid roads 228 and 230 as <br />listed in map from the State highway Department and 229 as proposed in resolution of July <br />15th. 4 ayes. <br />Motion by Sullivan, seconded by Achterkirch to request permission to connect to <br />arsenal swer. 4 ayes. <br />
