36 <br />VILLAGE ELECTION <br />December 2, 1958 <br />At the Annual Village Election of the Village of Mounds View in the County <br />of fey and State of Minnesota, held at Precinct #1, Messiah Lutherean Church; <br />Precinct #2, Spring Lake Park Lutheran Church; Precinct #3, Pinewood School being <br />the place where it was directed to be by the Village Council after giving <br />due notice thereof as rrovided by law, on the 2nd day of December, 1958 with the <br />following qualified voters of said Village, acting as Judges and clerks of such <br />Election, each of whoii had been appointed by the Village Council to act as Judges <br />and Clerks respectively of such election <br />Judges Clerks <br />Isabella Wille Bernice Ehlers <br />Grace Al.eckson Phyllis Blanchard <br />Alice Frits Agnes Meyers <br />Lila Hauberg <br />Ada Sopkowiak <br />Charlotte D. Jackson <br />who being present, at the hour Of 7 o'clock A.M., each of them duly took and <br />subscribed an oath to faithfully disc:iarge the duties required of them at such <br />Election; and the s.id Judges and Clerk being duly qualified, forthwith opened <br />the polls by proclamation, and the Election proceeded by ballot without adjournment <br />or intermission until closed. <br />The subjects voted on at such Election, as stated in the Notice thereof, were: <br />To elect <br />1 Trustee for a term of three years <br />1 Clerk for a term of two years <br />1 Justice of the Peace for a term of two years <br />At 8:00 o'clock P.M. of said day the polls were closed, proclamation thereof <br />having been made by one of the Judges thirty minutes previous thereto. The Judges <br />then proceeded to publicly count and canvass the votes, and a true statement thereof <br />was .duly proclaimed to the voters by the Clerk who recorded the same in the Village <br />Minute Book. <br />Martha Irvine <br />Earl E. Smith <br />STATEMENT CF RESULT OF CANVASS <br />The following is a trite statement of the result of the counting and canvass of votes <br />by ballot at the Annual Village Election of the Village of Mcunds View County of Ramsey, <br />and State of Minnesota, held December 2, 1958 ae proclaimed to the voters by the <br />Clerk of Election: <br />Melford C. Christensen received 211 votes for Trustee, term of 3 years <br />Ingram C. Rustad received 158 votes for Trustee, term of 3 years <br />Frank Kilroe received 1 vote for Trustee, term of 3 years <br />Melford C. Christensen was declared elected Trustee, term of 3 years <br />received 144 votes for Clerk <br />received 227 votes for Clerk <br />Earl E. Smith was declared elected Clerk <br />
