38 <br />December 3, 1958 <br />The regular monthly meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View <br />was called to order by Mayor Gibson at 8:00 P.M. on December 3, 1958, at the Village <br />BAIL 1450 W. Highttay 96. <br />The following members were present: <br />Mayor: <br />Clerk: <br />Trustees: <br />and the following were also present: <br />Depuiy Clerk: <br />.Legal.. Counsel: <br />Treasurer: <br />James W. Gibson <br />Martha Irvine <br />John L. Sullivan <br />Reuben G. Achterkirch <br />Ingram C. Rustad <br />I9ary Jean Milbrandt <br />Richard Meyers <br />Irene Edberg <br />All bills were approved to be paid. <br />by Sullivan, seconded by Rustad, to approve minutes of Novembsr 18 <br />meeting as. read. <br />Motion by Achterkirch, seconded by Sullivan, to approve financial statements for <br />September and October. <br />Mr. S. G. Haugen, 7710 Groveland, presented a preliminary plat for Haugen's <br />Addition The following verbal agreement was made between Mr. Haugen and the Council: <br />Mr... Aaugen will provide a'temporary turn- around at the end of the road, with 71feet <br />on the north end adjoining the road right -of way of Lot 1, Block 1 and Lot 6, Block 2, <br />being included in the turn around. No encumbrances will be recorded on the plat. <br />In the event that this road is continued to the north, the temporary turn around wily <br />be vacated. <br />Motion by Sullivan, seconded by Rustad, to approve the plat of Haugen's Addition <br />subject to the attorney executing a suitable agreement with the Water Department, and <br />subject to the verbal agreement with Mr. Haugen recorded in these minutes. 5 ayes. <br />Mr. George Gustafson, 8391 Spring Lake Road, requested permission to subdivide Lot 52, <br />Spring Lake Park Hillview Addition, to provide a building site 821' feet in width and <br />231 feet in depth. Motion by Rustad, seconded by Achterkirch, to waive Sec. 5-20 of <br />Ordinance No. 15 as amended by Ordinance No. 44, to permit division of lot as requested. <br />5 ayes. <br />Mr. Gustafson requested permission to divide a parcel of land consisting of the <br />north 100' of Lot 137 and all of Lot 138, Spring Lake Park Hillview Addition, on the <br />southeast corner of Fairchild and Sherwood, into three lots as follows: <br />1. The north 95' of the west 131' <br />2. The east 100' of Lot 138. <br />3. The east 100' of the north 65' <br />Motion by Sullivan, seconded by Rustad, <br />by Ordinance No. 44, with regard to lot <br />requested. 5 ayes. <br />of Lot 138, with 95' frontage and 131' depth. <br />of Lot 137. <br />to waive Sec. 5 -2C of Ordinance No. 15 as amended <br />1 to remit division of the parcel as <br />Mr. James Kinne, representing a joint hospit•:1 stilly committee for nine village:, <br />discussed a resolution wit' the Council to provide for the;appropria` ion of $500 and <br />appointment of a member of the Council to a committee to supervise the study.
