Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. John Koontz appeared bj- request of the council in regards to the building of <br />an addition onto the second building on his property. Mr. Koontz stated that the additional <br />building was being placed on skids and that it was to be used for the purpose of housing <br />two boats plus a beer cooler which is, required for his distribution business. It was <br />decided as long as the additional building was on skids approval for such building should <br />be granted. <br />Clerk Smith read two letters from the Northwestern Bell Telephone Company in regards <br />to burying a cable on Knollwood Drive north to Bronson and east to Groveland cand north on! <br />Groveland to County Road I. Also the laying of cable on Quincy between County Road I and <br />County Road 112. Requests for the placement of buried cable on Quincy was approved by the <br />council and said work has already been accomplished. Request for the laying of the cable <br />on Knollwood Drive, Bronson and Groveland to County Road I was denied until a certified <br />print of all buried cables in 4sounds View village is received by t!'e council. Clerk Smith <br />was directed to write a letter to Bell Telephone Company requesting a map showing the <br />location of all buried cable. Clerk Smith was also directed to write a letter to Northern <br />States Power Company requesting a map showing the location of all gas lines and the future <br />plans for the location of gas lines within the village of Mounds View. <br />Motion by Sullivan seconded by Christensen to amend the :notion which provided an <br />allowance of $75.0 to Mayor Gibson to attend the Minnesota League of i'iunicipalities <br />convention and to extend the allowance to $87.52.
