Proceedings of the Village Council <br />CJUD14 <br />3/14/60 <br />were then approved by the council amending a previous motion for <br />a crossover to be included on the plans, and that such crossover <br />be completes -t the time that the need for such crossover is apparent. <br />Resolutions No. .:9 and 30 were read by Clerk Smith which covered <br />the rossover ogreenent and provisions concerning the construction <br />o` Tail. #62 renumbered as T.H. #10. <br />Motion by Crane seconded by Malvin that the Village issue <br />private liquor licenses and the attorney be directed to prepare an <br />ordinance for tho issuance and control of such licenses. Hodges, <br />M.ivin, Smith and Crane, aye; Christensen, no. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Lee Hetrick submitted plans to the council for a Trailer <br />Repair and Parking on Highway #8. The council suggested that said <br />plans be presented at the Clerk's Office for official filing and <br />from there forwarded to the Planning Commission and Engineer for <br />study and recommendation. <br />Mr. Kinne, the Mounds View North Suburban Hospital District <br />Representative, appeared before the council to explain the forth- <br />coming election to be held April 12, 1960 for the purpose of <br />electing the permanent hospital board members. Clerk Smith read <br />the instructions regarding the election and pointed out that accord- <br />ing to these instruction,, the village could have one election <br />district or maintain the three districts now in existence for this <br />election. Motion by Malvin, seconded by Crane that the three <br />polling districts be used for the hospital election. 5 ayes, motion <br />carried. <br />The subject of the new pinns submitted by Mr. iallace Groberg <br />for the building of 2 apartment buildings and additional buildings <br />on County Road 1 near the junction of Adams Street, was referred to <br />tho Planning C mmission, Village Engineer and Village Attorney for <br />study. <br />Trustee Christensen brcught to the attention of the council the <br />necessary placement of rn_d limit signs in the village. Motion by <br />Christensen, seconded by 'Kedges that a letter be forwarded to the <br />County Engineer requesting such signs be placed throughout the <br />village as s_on as possible. 5 ayes, motion carried. <br />Motion by Malvin, seconded by Smith th^.t the Village Attorney <br />take action necessary for the purchase of the 1 -and for the <br />construction of the well and tank for Project number 60 -1. 5 ayes, <br />motion carriod. <br />The attorney and engin..er were olsc directed to prepare a <br />letter to Mr. 'lallace Groberg outlining the various reasons for <br />the denial of building permits on Br -nson Drive. <br />Mr. 'latter Skioa., Village inspector, brought to the attention <br />of the council that s sh:uld b:, one t7) step construction <br />of shallow wells in the village and suggested that the villa go <br />amend the Ordinance in question ^nc? that -'11 wells hereafter be of <br />a depth of 60 feet. Notion by Christensen, seconded by Crane, <br />that from this date all wells be at least 60 foot in depth and <br />
