Ii rg, Mrs. Frits and Mrs. Peterson work as judges at <br />trooinot #3 during the forthcoming election. 5 ayes, motion <br />Qrried. <br />Motion by Crane. seconded by Hodges that two council meetings <br />4 month be scheduled in order to adjudicate ar,much business as <br />possible in two shorter meetings. Upon the call of roll Hodges, <br />Crane and Malvin; aye; Christensen and Smith, no. Motion carried. <br />Motion by Crane, seconded by Malvin that the second meeting of the <br />Month be held on the fourth Monday of each month. Upon the call <br />of roll Crane; Malvini Hodges, aye; Christensen and Smith, no; <br />motion carriedi <br />The subject of a fire marshall appointment in the village <br />was brought to the attention of the council by Mayor Crane and <br />motion;by Smith, seconded by Christensen to table said appointment <br />until the next regular meeting of the council after council <br />discussion. 5 ayes; motion carried. <br />The subject of obtaining land for the site of the municipal <br />well was discussed by the attorney and motion by Crane, seconded <br />by Christensen that the attorney start condemnation proceedings <br />on seven acres of the O'Connell tract for the well site; 5 ayes, <br />motion carried. <br />The subject of a light and a petition therefore to be located <br />on the corner of Sherwood Drive and Sunnyside Road was brought <br />to the attention of the Council by Trustee Malvin on behalf of the <br />residents of that neighborhood. Motion by Smith, seconded by <br />Hodges that a light be placed on the corner of Sherwood and <br />Sunnyside Road and that the Northern States Power Company be <br />notified of such action. 5 ayes, motion carried. <br />Motion by Smith, seconded by Malvin to adjourn at 12:58 A.M. <br />5 ayes, motion carried. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Earl E.
