C �3 ^tip Application of Harrison H. Ware of the Pinewood Club for both off and on sale liquor licenses. Motion by Hodges, seconded by Malvin to issue said licenses to said applicant. Christensen and Smith, No; Hodgos, Crane and Malvin, aye; motion carried. At this point Mr. Malvin interjected the thought that along as liquor had peon voted into Mounds View Village and that applications have been received it is the duty of all of us to vote for these applications favorably and that none of the council should deny a right to any of the applicants. No remarks were forthcoming from Smith or ChristE_zsen and the business of process- ing the applications proceeded+ Application by Mr. Anthony Donetelle of the Irondale Inn for both off and on sale liquor licenses. Application by Mr. and Mrs. Alvin and Ebba Jansen for for on and off sale liquor licenses. Mayor Crane informed Mr. Jansen that in accordance with the ordinance all of the offi sale licenses had been issued and therefore no action could be taken on that application. Mr. Crane then moved, seconded by Hodges not to take action at this time on the application for on sale license due to the reason that applicant's do not have x specified premises 5 ayes, motion carried. Mr. Jansen stated that ho is in the process of selling much of his property for business construction and that was the reason he applied for a liquor license it order to hold a license open for on sale liquor. The council agreed to meet with Mr. Jansen 2 TRiursday night, Juno 30th to discuss the plans for his property of the Skyline Motel. Attorney Meyers gave a report on and read the ordinance es- tablishing a certificate of Occupancy. This mattor tabile +d until next meeting for study by the council. Clerk Smith read a letter from an ..ttorney for Mr. on Voge, concerning the annexing of his property lying in Mounds View village to the village of Blaine. Nr. Meyers instructed to pre- pare a letter to Mr. Voges ..ttorney denying the annexing of his land in Mounds View and stating that the village would be glad to accept a proposal from him to annex hie property on which the Race Track is located back to tho village of Mounds View from which it was once annexed.
