Keller, St. Paul, Minn. 10% <br />e JUll3S <br />Mayor Crane opened the meeting calling for bids on Waterworks <br />Improvement Project 1960 -3. After a second call for bids he there- <br />upon declared bids to be closed. <br />5A $249,710.00 270 days <br />5% 3255,583.90 260 days <br />5% $219,823.00 Haw. <br />5% 3262,402.79 6-1-61 <br />5% 3256,188.50 250 days <br />5% 31999393.00 245 days <br />3359,987.80 240 days <br />3207,868.00 As spec, <br />3209,231.00 280 days <br />3203,880.30 270 days <br />Clerk Smith then announced each bidder and opened the bids, <br />the contents of which were read by the village Engineer as follows: <br />COMPLETION <br />Bid# COMPANY BOND BID PRICE DATE <br />A motion was then made by Crane, seconded by Smith to refer the <br />bids to the village Engineer for tabulation and recommendation. <br />5 ayes, motion carried. <br />The minutes of the Council meeting of August 8, 1960 was read <br />by the Clerk. Christensen then moved and Malvin seconded to approve <br />the minutes as read. 5 ayes, motion carried. <br />The proposed bud. -et for the year 1961 was read by the Clerk, <br />which is placed on file in the clerk's office. Mayor Crane raised <br />the question of whether or not new office equipment which may be <br />required for postin of water bills, etc., should ba included under <br />the "ater Fund" in the budget. The council decided to place this <br />item under the "General Fund" until such time as office machines are <br />required for postin of water bills and other such work. <br />
