Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota was held at the Red Oak School in said Village on the 28th day of November, 1960 at 8:00 o'clock p.m. with the following members present: Crane, Christensen, Hodges, Malvin and Smith and the following members absent: None Member Christensen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: EXTRACT OF NIN!JTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGEE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW, MEgNESOTA A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR WATER WORKS IMPROVEMENT MO. 1960 -1C. WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Water Works Improvement No. 1960 -1C, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Herbst Construction Co. Minneapolis $10,532.50 Lametti Sons, Inc. St. Paul 6,420.D0 Randall Berglin 8,045.00 Walbon Excavating Co. Minneapolis 8,850.00 Petrowske Ross Minneapolis 7,200.00 AND WHEREAS, it appears that Lametti Sons, Inc. of St. Paul is the lowest responsible bidder, with a base bid of $6,420.00 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota: (1) The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Lametti Sons, Inc. of St. Paul in the name of the Village of Mounds View for the improvement designated as Water Works Improvement No. 1960 -1C according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the Village Council and on file in the office of the Village Clerk. (2) The village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids. except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
