Mayor Crane announced that new members for th3 Planning Commission will be <br />acted on by the council in January. <br />Mr. Harvey i•telby, 8371 Eastwood Drive appeared before the council and stated <br />that he wished to make a complaint regardirg a violation of the business ordinance <br />in his area. The party concerned is selling Christmas trees on his residential <br />property. He also stated that this party has maw moved in a stable and also <br />operates a truck transfer business from the property. The village attorney stated <br />Wet Mr. Melvy snoald _file a complaint with the Police Departpent or go directly <br />to the Justice Count and sign his own complaint. <br />Mr. Robert Anderson appeared before the council and presented a petition for <br />two street lights to be located at Sherewood and Groveland and Sherewood and <br />Fairchild. Eta id petitions are to be kept on file and considered with the street <br />light survey by I'orthert States Power. <br />The village Attorney presented an affidavit for condemnation of the property <br />itt 785E Long Lake Road which is to be signed by the Building Inspector and the <br />affected parry not <br />Mr. Enutson representative for the village Engineering firm, reported that <br />apecificaticns have been prepared for the second well and that the location is now <br />the question to b:; considered. This owner stated that he thinks the ditch is <br />partialy on his property, This matter was referred to the Attorney and Engineer <br />to determ.ae on. :occ and ownership and to obtain an easement for the village if <br />not done so allrea_dy- <br />Cleri. Smit!i c_tered the meeting at this point at approximately 9:45, p. m. <br />The sutioct of hooking up to the village water WRIEKEZ system after construction <br />is completed was r.r.sed ty several citizens. Mr. Knutson stated that the village <br />can allow :L citizons to hook up but that the village should provide contracting <br />firms under ,'.irertion of the Water Works Superintendent for this work.
