AmoS Birdsall had agreed to work nn an <br />hourly basis as recommended by the recreation Cot.,,.ittce. :otion by <br />I od :;cs, seconded by Crane to acce,>t an' hire i-r. ;firdsall as dccreation <br />and i.aintenance employee. 5 ayes, motion carried. <br />Trustee Hodges then presented to the Council the subject of buying <br />a new or used trailer to haul lumber, etc. as required for the <br />Recreation program. Trustee Hodges moved, seconded by Malvin, that <br />the Recreation Committee be allowed to spend 3150. for a new or used <br />trailer for this purpose. After discussion in which the Council did <br />not know what type of trailer was to be purchased, the motion and <br />second were withdrawn. Said trailer would be discussed at a meeting <br />by the Council and possibly approved at a future meeting. <br />The subject of the certification of the judges for the Village <br />Election was brought to the attention of the Council and motion by <br />Smith, seconded by Christensen to ccrtify•Lhc following citizens as <br />judges: <br />Pinewood School, Precinct No. 3 <br />Ada Sopkowiak, Chairman <br />Ramona Thompson <br />Maxine Benesch <br />Red Oak School, Precinct No. 2 <br />Lila I- Iauberg, Chairman <br />Idamac Larson <br />airs. Robert Pearson <br />Messiah Lutheran Cht_rch, Precinct No. 1 <br />Bernice Ehlers <br />Bernice Schaffhausen <br />Mrs. tlille, Chairman <br />5 ayes, motion carried. <br />Mr. Skiba asked the Council what was to be done about expired <br />water permits which allowed 30 days time in which to place the water <br />connections. The Council concurred that the permits should be extended <br />and that the people holding such permits should have the water connec- <br />tion installed within a reasonable time. <br />Motion by Crane, seconded by Malvin to pay the followin,; bills <br />(sec list attached). 5 ay: motion carried. <br />Motion by Cram:, seconded by ;:•:1vin to approve the following <br />licenses which have been approved by the inspectors (sec list attached). <br />5 ayes, motion carried. <br />Motion by dnith, seconded by Christensen <br />5 aye, motion corri.d. <br />:td j rn 11:40 p.m. <br />ted. <br />h <br />Village Clerk <br />CJGI29 <br />
