Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Mounds View <br />Village Council was called to order by Mayor Allan B. Crane at 8:15 P. M., Monday, <br />December 19, 1960, at the Village Office, 5499 Adams Street. <br />Members Present: <br />Members Absent: <br />A letter of recommendation from the Police Commission and Chief of Police was <br />read concerning the bid from River Motors Dodge Dealers in Anoka for one 9 passenger <br />Dodge 1961 Station Wagon, said letter recommending that the village purchase the <br />Police Car named in this bid for village police service. Motion by Christensen, <br />seconded by Malvin to concur with the recommendation of the Police Commission and <br />Chief of Police and purchase said vehicle for police service at the bid price <br />stipulated in the bid. 4 ayes, motion carried. <br />Motion by Malvin seconded by Hodges to purchase a used transistor radio and all <br />other accessories and egiipment necessary to equip the 1961 Police Vehicle. 4 ayes, <br />motion carried. <br />Mayor Crane then moved seconded by Malvin to pay bills (list attached), in- <br />cluding payment of $15,013.44 to the ..merican National Bank for interest and costs <br />on Water Works Improvement Bonds. 4 ayes, motion carried. <br />In accordance with a recommendation from the Chief of Police, Motion by Crane <br />seconded by Malvin to increase the salary of Patrolman Erwin Kish to $150.00 a month. <br />4 ayes, motion carried. <br />Motion by Christensen, seconded by Crane to recess until January 3, 1961, at <br />8:00 p. m. 4 ayes, motion carried. <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the special meeting of the village <br />council was reconvened upon the recommendation by Clerk Smith by Mayor Cran$ at <br />7:32 p. m., Wednesday, December 28, 1960, at the Village Office, 5499 Adams Street. <br />Members Present: <br />Mayor: <br />Trustee: <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, <br />MINNESOTA <br />Allay.
