Page 4. <br />006022 <br />Proceedings of the Village Council fleeting- February 13, 1961 <br />Motion by Hodges to adopt Ordinance 82 an Ordinance <br />amending Ordinance #81 prohibiting "set -ups" on Sunday. Seconded by <br />Malvin. Crane- No. 4 Ayes for approval. (Christensen,Hodges, <br />Malvin and Blanchard). <br />A proposed change to the Dog Ordinance was read; calling for a <br />325.00 License fee for unspayed female dogs. <br />After much discussion from the floor Mayor Crane moved that the <br />Ordinance be tabled for 6 months to see how the new set -up with the <br />dogcatcher would work out. Motion died for lack of a second. <br />Trustee Christensen moved the Ordinance be adopted motion <br />died for lack of a second. <br />A Resolution calling far re= assessing of property for public <br />improvement was read• <br />Motion by Blanchard for adoption. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes <br />Motion carried. <br />Motion by Christensen to pay presented bills (list attached). <br />Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes for approval. <br />The Engineer reported that the Proposed Pump IIouse would cost <br />3755.00, and was instructed to proceed with the letting of the contract <br />and the construction. <br />the Engineer presented Estimate $3i for payment on Work completed <br />for Sandstrom and Hefner on Water Project. <br />Motion by Crane to pay Sandstrom and Hafner, Seconded by Christens. <br />5 Ayes for approval. <br />Motion by Crane to order permanent plans for building on well <br />site. Seconded by Christensen. 5 Ayes for approval. <br />Motion by Blanchard to have Engineer prepare the Assessment Roll <br />for Water Works Improve. Pro3. #60 -3. Seconded by Crane. 5 Ayes for <br />approval. <br />Mr. Knutson reported that the water system at Northern Pole <br />Treating Plant in the Village of Fridley was not suitable for Village <br />use. <br />Motion by Blanchard that Mr. Paul Boog be hired as Administrative <br />Deputy Clerk at a salary of 3450.00 per month with a 6 month probation <br />period. Seconded by Crane. <br />After considerable discussion the roll was called. Malvin, No, <br />Christensen, No, Bodges, Aye, Crane, Aye, Blanchard Aye. 3 Ayes, <br />Motion carried. <br />Planning Report read by Milt Stole. (Report on file at Village <br />Office). <br />The Clerk was instructed to return the Planners (Howard Dahlgrer' <br />original contract Proposal for correction and ask him to re- submit it. <br />Motion by Crane that Mr. Keith swers, 2230 Co. Rd. J, be ap- <br />pointed Village Weed Ins €c_tor. Seconded by Christensen. 5 Ayes for <br />approval. <br />Motion by Malvin to adjourn.
