A apcial meeting was held in the Village Office at 2401 Hwy. 10, <br />St. Paul 12, Minnesota to canvass the votes of the Village Election <br />of December 5th, 1961. The meeting was called to order at 7:20 A.M. <br />on December 6th, 1961 by Mayor Crane with the following members.,._ <br />present: <br />Mayors <br />Clerk: <br />Trustees: <br />Administrative Clerk: <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />MINNESOTA <br />Allan B. Crane <br />Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Perry Malvin <br />Donald Hodges <br />Melford Christensen <br />Paul Boog <br />STATED.ENT OF RESULT OF CANVASS <br />030V6 <br />At the Annual Village Election of the Village "ofaMounds :View <br />tbe.County of Ramsey and State of Minnesota, held at Red Oak School, <br />Pinewood School, and Messiab.f,utheran Church: being the place where <br />it was directed to be held by the Village Council after giving due <br />notice thereof as f ovided by laws on the 25th day of November, 1961, <br />aftd'appointed said qualified voters of said Village to act as Judges <br />of such Election a Precinct #1 Iva Petron, Grace Aleckson, Bernice <br />Schaffhausen, Alternate Bernice Ehlers, Precinct #2 Ida Nippert, <br />Lila Hauberg, Bernice Hafslund, Precinct #3 Ada Sopkowiak, Ramona <br />Thompson, Maxine Benesch, Alternate Harriet Kish, who being present <br />at the hour of 7:00 A.M. each of them (except alternates) duly took <br />and subscribed an oath or affirmation to faithfully discharge the duties <br />required of them at such Election; and the said Judges being duly <br />qualified, forthwith opened the polls by proclamation, and the Elect- <br />ion proceeded by ballot without adjournment or intermission until <br />closed. <br />The subjects voted on at such Election, as stated in the Notice <br />thereof, were: to elect: <br />1 Mayor <br />1 Trustee <br />1 Justice of the Peace <br />1 Treasurer <br />and to cast the ballot on the question "Shall licenses be granted for <br />the sale of intoxicating liquors in the Village of Mounds View <br />At 8 :00 o'clock in the evening of said day the polls were closed <br />proclamation thereof having been made by one of the Judges thirty <br />minutes previous thereto. The Judges then proceeded to publicly count <br />and canvass the votes, and a true statement thereof was duly proclaim- <br />ed to the voters by the Clerk who recorded the same in the Village <br />Minute Book. <br />The following is a true statement of the result of the counting <br />and oanvase of votes by ballot at the Annual Village Election of the <br />Village of Mounds View, County of Ramsey and State of Minnesota, held <br />December 5th, 19610 as proclaimed to the voters by the Clerk of Electic, <br />
