PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />Called to order by Acting Mayor Donald Hodges at 8:00 P.M., January 8th, <br />1962, at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10. <br />Roll Call: <br />Acting Mayor: Donald Hodges <br />Clerk: Lloyd Blanchard <br />Trustees: John Sullivan <br />Perry Malvin <br />00000'7 <br />Also Present: <br />Engineer: Les Knutson <br />Attorney: Richard Meyers <br />Adm. Dep.Clerk:Paul Boog <br />Pub. Works Supt:Walter Skiba <br />The minutes of January 3rd, 1962 were read by Clerk. Minutes <br />corrected to add a line at the bottom of page 1 as follows "Mayor A.B. <br />Crane designated as representative." Motion by Sullivan to accept <br />minutes as corrected. Seconded by Malvin. 4 ayes. <br />Police report for December of 1961 and for the year of 1961 <br />read by Hodges and placed on file. <br />Dog Catchers reports for October, November and December 1961 <br />were read and placed on file. <br />The Clerk was instructed to contact Mr. Bona and request that <br />he meet with the Council at the agenda meeting on January 20th, 1962. <br />Minutes of the Recreation Committee were read by Hodges and <br />placed on file, <br />He reported that the Recreation Committee will meet on <br />Thursday evenings this year as called. <br />The Clerk was instructed to request a contract proposal <br />from h. Dahlgren, Village Planner, and also to contact Planning <br />Committee Chairman Milt Stole regarding this. <br />Mr, Ken Ballenger, Civil Defense Director reported that the <br />cost of the parkas for Civil Defense uniforms was $24.00 each, The <br />Council requested that Mr. Ballenger appear at the next agenda meeting. <br />Mr. Edmond, Electrical Inspector, reported on delinquent fees <br />from the electrieial contractor at the new building. <br />The Attorney is to notify the General contractor regarding <br />this delinquency and of the possibilty of the Village charging a <br />louble fee. <br />The Attorney suggested that the Council re-investigate the <br />proposed Civil Defense 3rdinance for corrections needed. <br />
