-3 A request by Mrs. Andrus of 2374 Hillview Road for possible rezoning for duplex of her property was refered to the Planning Commission. 0d0021 The report from the Village Planner for Johnson Terrace was not received as promised and the Council made several suggestions to the developers for mutually agreeable changes in their proposal.(Said changes RE: lot size after street easements were made) The developers stated they would have the pions changed according to the requests and suggestions and re- present them at the next cc,::ncil meeting. Trustee Malvin entered the meeting at this point (9:15 P.M.) Mr. Malvin gave al report on the meeting of the Lakeside Park Commission. He stated that Mounds View will have the ballfield at the park on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The Commission will have the swings moved, new picnic tables (of the permanent type), more sand on the beach and a practice ball field graded off in back of the present one as part of this summer program. Jr. Malvin introduced Dick Jones, State Representative He stated that there would be an important meeting concerning The Dutch Elm Disease with State Officiah on February 21st at 8:00 P.M. at the New Brighton Village Hall. State Representative Richard Jones will also persue obtaining the Speed Limit reduced at Quincy end County Road I near Pinewood School from 40 to 30 M.P.H. Trustees Malvin and Hodges will attend the meet n" in the New Brighton Village Hall, February 21st regars'.:g Tae Dutch Elm Disease. The Mayor introduced Mr. Stuart Rotheeber of 223 Oakwood Drive, New Brighton 12, Minnesota. Mr. Rothrcber stated that he seared on tha original industrial development committee and would be pleased to serve again, if requested. Mr. Arthur Moschkau 82207r.ong Loke Road and f.L-, Rodeo Robinson, 8340 Long Lake Road, appeared requesting a1-1 extension of water service to their homes. Mr. Moschkau stated that State Board of Health had instructed him to have hir; private well tested because 3 members of his family havo had H •:atitis recently and they feel that the water may bo partially responsible for this. The Mayor requested these men to file a petition for c'o ter main extension in the clerks office. The Clerk was instructed to insert a notice in the legal paper requesting any residents wishing an extension of water service to present petitions for extensions as soon as ,possible, so work can be starters and completed during surroo: months, Ur.
