-3 <br />A request by Mrs. Andrus of 2374 Hillview Road for possible <br />rezoning for duplex of her property was refered to the Planning <br />Commission. <br />0d0021 <br />The report from the Village Planner for Johnson Terrace was <br />not received as promised and the Council made several suggestions <br />to the developers for mutually agreeable changes in their <br />proposal.(Said changes RE: lot size after street easements <br />were made) The developers stated they would have the pions <br />changed according to the requests and suggestions and re- present <br />them at the next cc,::ncil meeting. <br />Trustee Malvin entered the meeting at this point (9:15 P.M.) <br />Mr. Malvin gave al report on the meeting of the Lakeside Park <br />Commission. He stated that Mounds View will have the ballfield <br />at the park on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The Commission will <br />have the swings moved, new picnic tables (of the permanent type), <br />more sand on the beach and a practice ball field graded <br />off in back of the present one as part of this summer program. <br />Jr. Malvin introduced Dick Jones, State Representative <br />He stated that there would be an important meeting concerning <br />The Dutch Elm Disease with State Officiah on February 21st <br />at 8:00 P.M. at the New Brighton Village Hall. <br />State Representative Richard Jones will also persue <br />obtaining the Speed Limit reduced at Quincy end County Road I <br />near Pinewood School from 40 to 30 M.P.H. <br />Trustees Malvin and Hodges will attend the meet n" <br />in the New Brighton Village Hall, February 21st regars'.:g <br />Tae Dutch Elm Disease. <br />The Mayor introduced Mr. Stuart Rotheeber of 223 <br />Oakwood Drive, New Brighton 12, Minnesota. Mr. Rothrcber <br />stated that he seared on tha original industrial development <br />committee and would be pleased to serve again, if requested. <br />Mr. Arthur Moschkau 82207r.ong Loke Road and f.L-, Rodeo <br />Robinson, 8340 Long Lake Road, appeared requesting a1-1 extension <br />of water service to their homes. Mr. Moschkau stated that <br />State Board of Health had instructed him to have hir; private <br />well tested because 3 members of his family havo had H •:atitis <br />recently and they feel that the water may bo partially <br />responsible for this. <br />The Mayor requested these men to file a petition for <br />c'o ter main extension in the clerks office. <br />The Clerk was instructed to insert a notice in the legal <br />paper requesting any residents wishing an extension of water <br />service to present petitions for extensions as soon as ,possible, <br />so work can be starters and completed during surroo: months, <br />Ur. Jim Haluptzok, 1744 Hillview Road, Min.nr.•aeo'.i> 21, <br />M :lnnecota, requested information regarding street proposal <br />r t71.ivisions of a lot in Hillview area, This <br />r..fe.':i to the Planning Commission for study and recommendation. <br />The matter of Gloria Circle was refered to Trustee <br />Sullivan and the Village Engineer for study and rccorm:ndation. <br />
