-4 <br />The Clerk wa) instructed to prepare specification and <br />advertise•.for bids. <br />Motion by Crane to pay Police Officers dues to Minnesota <br />Police Officers Association. Seconded iby Hodges. 5 Ayes <br />A three year police report was presented and briefly <br />explained. (copy on file.) <br />Motion by Sullivan to set road weight limits as of <br />March 15, 1962. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes <br />Clerk instructed to send work order to County Engineer <br />requesting this. <br />The Engineer was instructed to have a filter placed in <br />the lubricating line on pump #1, due to line becoming sand <br />clogged. <br />The Engineer presented specs. for acoustical ceiling in <br />the new building. These were discussed and the following <br />action taken: <br />Motion by Crane to advertise for bids on acctstical <br />ceilings. Bids requested with optional lighting panels, <br />Bids to close April 9, 1962 at 8:00 P.M. <br />Seconded by Blanchard 5 Ayes <br />The Engineer was instructed to prepare specifications and <br />advertise for bids in legal and trade papers. The Attorney's <br />presence is to be required at the next agenda meeting, March 24, <br />1962 at 1:00 P.M. for a discussion with the contractor of the <br />utility building. <br />The bond from the Layne Minnesota Company for additional <br />work on well 2 was presented. The Clerk was instructed to <br />attach this bond to the original contract. <br />A copy of a letter from the Village Engineer to the <br />Chicago Bridge and Iron Company regarding the repainting of the <br />water tank was presented and placed on file. <br />The street number precinct lay out requested by the <br />County Auditor was presented by the Engineer for transmission <br />to the County Auditor. <br />Motion by Blanchard to send public Works Superintendent, <br />Walter Skiba to Water Superintendents School and to pay his <br />expenses incurred. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes <br />Motion by Blanchard to pay bills presented,(List attached.) <br />Seconded by Malvin 5 Ayes <br />Motion by Blanchard to pay bills from commissioners for <br />condemnation hearing from general fund. Money to be.assessed <br />against water project 1961 -1 and repaid to general fund after <br />receipt of assessments. Seconded by Crane. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Crane to authorize payment of judgement in <br />condemnation to Mr. George Porter 7980 Fairchild Avenue. Money <br />to be taken from General fund and assessed against water project <br />1961- 1. Money to be repaid to General fund after receipt of <br />0J003'7 <br />
