PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE CIUNCIL <br />VILLAGE IF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY CUJNTY, MINNESOTA OA :152 <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />called to order by Mayor Crane at 8 :00 P.M., November 12, 1962 <br />at 2401 Highway #10. <br />Present were: <br />Mayor: Allan B. Crane <br />Adm. Deputy Clerk: Paul E. Boog <br />Trustees: Donald Hodges <br />Perry Malvin <br />John Sullivan <br />Absent: <br />Clerk: <br />Also Present: <br />Attorney: Richard Meyers <br />Engineer: Les Knutson <br />Public Works Walter Skiba <br />Mayor Crane opened the Public Hearing requested by Mr. <br />O. C. Braathen to move the house from 1966 Highway #96 to <br />2015 County Road H. After the Village Attorney, Mr. Meyers, <br />errplained the necessary requirements, the Mayor called for <br />objectors; none appeared. Mr. Braathen answered questions <br />about the house, and the Building Inspector, Chris Piehowski, <br />stated his approval. <br />Motion by Hodges to allow a house owned by Mr. 0. C. <br />Braathen to be moved from 1566 Highway #96 to 2015 County Road H. <br />Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />Motion by Hodges to approve minutes of October 22, 1962 <br />Council Meeting as corrected by Mayor Crane by deleting the <br />word rezone" on Lines 24 and 31 and insert the words "amend <br />the ordinance" in place of rezone. <br />Seconded by Sullivan. 4 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />Motion by Sullivan to approve minutes of November 7, 19624 <br />Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />Mayor Crane introduced Mr. Mc Cubrey, District Highway <br />Engineer, representing the Minnesota Highway Department in <br />reply to a letter from the Council. He explained change of <br />an intersection within New Brighton was the reason the letting <br />of bids on Highway #35 was being delayed from September 30 <br />to Febuary 15. Mr. McCubrey was requested to notify Mounds <br />View when any future sates of construction are to be changed. <br />Mr. McCubrey stated that the crossover at Edgewood and Highway #10 <br />would be for emergency vehicles only; the opening from 16 to <br />20 feet wide. The Council objected to this restricted use of the <br />crossover. Mr. McCubrey suggested that additional studies might <br />produce a future change from an emergency to a normal crossover. <br />Samuel Dalberg, builder, introduced Mr. Dean Krogh who <br />now lives in a trailer park. Because the owner of thetrailer <br />park rented the area he had, Mr. Krogh would like to move his <br />trailer into Mounds View until his house is built by Mr. Dalbeeg <br />Lloyd J.
