PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />OJO1G6 <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />called to order by Mayor Crane at 8:00 P.M., December 10, 1962 <br />at 2401 Highway #10. <br />Present were: <br />Mayor: <br />Clerk: <br />Trustees: <br />Allan B. Crane <br />Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Perry Malvin <br />Donald Hodges <br />John L. Sullivan <br />Also Present: <br />Attorney: Richard Meyers <br />Engineer: Les Knutson <br />Adm. Deputy Clerk: Paul E. Boog <br />Public Works: Walter Skiba <br />Motion by Hodges to approve minutes of regular meeting of <br />November 26, 1962 as presented. Seconded by Sullivan. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Malvin to approve minutes of special meeting of <br />December 6, 1962 as presented. Seconded by Sullivan. 5 Ayes. <br />Twelve students from the Mounds View High School Senior <br />Social Studies class of Mr. Jerry Christianson were in attendance <br />to take notes as part of their class requirement. <br />The November Police Report was read and placed on file. <br />A detailed report from the Chief of Police regarding the <br />arrest of several juveniles for break -ins was presented for the <br />Council's study. <br />The Mayor reported on the meetings being held by the <br />Governor's Committee for Sanitary Sewer study. The Committee <br />is recommending the adoption of the "Metro Plan." <br />Mr. Hodges reported that the skating rinks will be opened <br />and ready for skating by December 15, 1962 and that <br />registration for children's figure skating and hockey will <br />take place on that dates <br />The Crowley Fence Company has reported to the Village that <br />they will correct the probelms with the backstops and hoods <br />that they installed. <br />The Hillview drainage problem is under study by the <br />recreation committee and the Village Engineer. <br />There will be a Senior Y.A.C. dance on December 14 <br />8:00 at the Village Hall. <br />Mr. Malvin reported that the rust spots on the water tower <br />had been repainted. <br />
