-2- <br />Motion by Sullivan, conditioned on the Council's receQ0017 <br />of an application with fee, for variance and an advisory hearing <br />will be set regarding garage size and usage. Seconded by Blanchard. <br />5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Sullivan to appreve final plot plan for <br />Gustafson's 2nd Addition and authorize the Mayor and Clerk to <br />sign same. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes. <br />Mr. Gustafson was advised that the Village required 5 <br />copies of plot: plans for their files. <br />Mr. Charles Jackson, Civil Defense Director, infomed the <br />Council that 34 people attended the First Aid Class held on Thursday <br />night in the Village hall at 7:30 P.M. and that more were expected <br />at the next regular meeting. <br />The Civil Defense Department requested a legal size <br />typewriter for their use. <br />Motion by Crane to refer the request for a typewriter <br />to the Village Clerk's Office. Seconded by Sullivan. 5 Ayes. <br />Mayor Crane read the police report for January 1963 and <br />it was placed on file. The Police department arranged a tour of <br />Ramsey County Police Facilities and invited the Police Commission <br />and the Council to attend March 2, 1963. <br />The Clerk's Office was instructed to send out reminders <br />to those invited prior to March 2. <br />The Clerk's Office was instructed to contact the papers <br />regarding publishing the cut off date for water book -mp without <br />penality. <br />Motion by Crane to set March 1, 1963 as date water is <br />available on all section of projects 1962 -2 and 1962 -3. This will <br />make September 1, 1963 the date on which all abutting homes must <br />have water connections made to avoid late hookup penalty. <br />Seconded by Blar ;h -are?. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Hodges to hire the following people as <br />warming house attendants at $1.00 per hour. <br />Byron L. Hodges reported that the Recreation Committee wished <br />to put a floor and heaiei ii1 the garage thy could have <br />equipment repaired there. This was referred to the Public Works <br />Superintendent and Mr. Malvin for study and recommendation. <br />
