Present were: .Mayor: Clerk: Trustee: PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOULDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA 0J0035 The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor Crane at 8:00 P.M., April 8, 1963 at 2401 Hi:gbway' 10. Allan B. Crane Lloyd J. Blanchard Donald Hodges Perry Malvin John L. Sullivan Also Present: Attorney: Richard Meyers Engineer: Les Knutson Treasurer: Irene Edberg Adm. Deputy Clerk: Paul E. Boog Public Works: Walter Skiba Motion by Hodges to approve minutes of March 25, as presented. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes Motion by Crane to approve minutes of April 1, special meeting as presented. Seconded by Sullivan. 3 Ayes Hodges and Malvin abstaining because of absence from meeting. Mayor Crane read a letter inviting the Council to an Eagle Scout ceremony on April 23. The Mayor urged the attendance of the Council. (Letter on file) Motion by Crane to authorize expenses for delegates to the League of Minnesota Municipalities Convention in July, including all councilmen and the Deputy Clerk, up to $100.00. Expenses for the Engineer and Attorney to be not more than $50.00 each. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes. The Police report for March was read and filed. A letter from the Highway Department regarding trees at Highway B and Highway 10 was read and referred to John Sullivan. The Fire Marshall Ordinance was read and discussed. Motion by Crane to adopt Ordinance 99. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes. Motion by Crane to appoint Roy Gale as Deputy Fire Marshall to enforce Section 4, Paragraph 1 and 2 of Ordinance 92 and to appoint the Mounds View Police Department as Deputy Fire Marshalls for the purpose of issuing burning permits. Section 4, Paragraph 3 Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes. A resolution from the Ramsey County League of Municipalities regarding combining of P.E.R.A. with Social Security was read and discussed. Motion by Crane to adopt Resolution 119. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes.
