PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />:ailed to order by Mayor Crane at 5:00 P.M. May 13, 1963 at 2401 <br />:i:4hway 10. <br />Present were: <br />Clerk: <br />Trustee: <br />Allan B. Crane <br />Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Donald Hodges <br />John L. Sullivan <br />Absent: Perry Malvin <br />(attending NSSSD Board Meeting) <br />Also Present: <br />Engineer: Shealy Boehm <br />Attorney: Richard Meyers <br />Adm. Deputy Clerk: Paul E. Boog <br />Public Works: Walter Skiba <br />Treasurer: Irene Edberg <br />OJ0050 <br />Motion by Hodges to accept minutes of April 22, 1963, <br />(regular meeting) as presented. Seconded by Sullivan. 4 Ayes <br />Motion by Sullivan to accept minutes of May 6, 1963, <br />!special meeting) as presented. Seconded by Hodges. 4 Ayes. <br />Motion by Sullivan to set Public Hearing for rezoning of <br />Lots 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, Block #5, Pinewood Terrace 2. This <br />property is located on the north side of Highway 10, East of. <br />Edgewood Drive and is proposed to be used for a ballroom, medical <br />center, and drive -in restaurant, for Mr. John Eastman. Hearing to <br />be on May 27, 1963 at 8:00 P.M. Seconded by Blanchard. 4 Ayes. <br />The Planning Commission will be requested to give a report <br />on the proposal at the Public Hearing. <br />Mr. Jo:1n Eliason, 8323 Eastwood Drive requested permission <br />to live in a trailer home while he completed the interior of his <br />new home. <br />Motion by Hodges to issue a special permit to Mr. Eliason <br />to live in the trailer home for 90 days. Special permit to expire <br />on August 12, 1963. Seconded by Sullivan. 4 Ayes. <br />A request was received for storage of vehicles in violation <br />of Ordinance 92. <br />Motion by Blanchard to allow Mr. Derby 2154 Terrace Drive <br />to store vehicles until July 16, 1963 as requested. <br />Seconded by Hodges. 4 Ayes. <br />A request similar to above was received regarding a bus <br />being converted to a camper. Motion by Crane to allow Mr. Westlund <br />5511 Quincy Street to store the bus on his property for one year. <br />The permit will expire May 15, 1964. Seconded by Blanchard. 4 Ayes. <br />fiction by Hedges to renew permit for trailer parked at the <br />Skyline Motel for a period of 90 days, Permit to expire August 12, 1963- <br />Ti.^ police department will inspect trailer to assure use is for <br />Jurpuse requested. Seconded by Crane. 4 Ayes. <br />
