-2- <br />The Attorney is to investigate a situation where a resident <br />apparently removed a water meter and is using unmetered water. <br />The Engineer is to draw a map showing location of County RoadH <br />from Irondale to Highway 10. <br />The Clerk is to arrange a meeting with N.S.P. to meet with <br />c'eveloper, Herbst, Members of the Council and the Engineer at 4 :00 P.M. <br />W rnesday, July 10th. <br />Milton.Johnson 2119 Pinewood reported that the walkway <br />is just sand. Florence Peterson 2277 Knoll Drive stated that their <br />w'kway is in poor condition. Motion by Crane to authorize Mr. Sullivan <br />and the Engineer to blacktop these two walkways if determined necessary <br />Seconded by Hodges. 3 Ayes Motion Carried. <br />E,M• Gerner 2103 Pinewood stated that the top soil of the <br />St. Paul Waterworks property along County Road I is just sand and is <br />blowing onto adjacent property owners lawns, The Engineer was instructed <br />to contact the proper officials to eliminate this situation. <br />Mayor Crane reopened the Mueller Addition 1963 -1 hearing. <br />The Engineer reported that the low bidder was Horace Montgomery. His <br />bid of $29,845.00 plus the additional fiscal, Engineering and 'Attorney <br />Fees of 15% would bring the total to $34,320,00 which would be 3% higher <br />than the original estimate of $33,105.00 Motion by Hodges to accept the <br />Horace Montgomery bid of $29,845.00. Seconded by Malvin. 3 Ayes. <br />Motion Carried. <br />Mayor Crane read a letter from Sheriffs Hedman about .•gambling <br />and raffling in Ramsey County. Request from Moods Investors Service for <br />current financial information about Mounds View. To be sent to James <br />Olson, Village Fiscal Agents <br />The Police Department Monthly Report for June was passed out <br />to the audience instead of being read. (Copy on file) <br />From Sterling Codifiers Inc. information about Municipal Codes <br />available, the Clerk's Office was instructed to send for this information. <br />Letter from Gov. Rolvaag about need of employing the you':.h. <br />Mayor Crane reported that the facilities at Lakeside Park bathing <br />house was closed over the entire weekend. Mr. Malvin explained that he <br />had just contacted someone to repair the facilities. <br />Mr. Hodges requested the Engineer to secure the additional <br />fill on Hillview and requested a deadline date to level off and <br />seed Oakwood Park. Mr. Malvin reported that the Executive Board of <br />the NSSSD meeting will be at the Shoreview Village Hall. Mayor Crane <br />asked whether the July 29th meeting for a Public Hearing on Sewer <br />could be met. The Engineer presented a list of twenty items that the <br />Council should consider and make preliminary decisions before the <br />Public Hearing date. <br />Motion by Malvin to appoint Mr. James Johnson 5441 Adams <br />as a Mounds View Representative to the Lakeside Park Commision. 3 Ayes <br />Motion Carried. <br />
