Mayor Hodges recessed the <br />hearing for ten minutes to allow those interested to examine the storm <br />sewer plans and remove their names from the petition. <br />Mr. James Monicken 7200 Knollwood Drive and Mr. Bernard <br />Falck 7111 Knollwood Drive removed their names from the petition. <br />Mayor Hodges reconvened the hearing and asked for any <br />objectors other than those on the petition. Mr. Edwin Dropps, Sr. <br />7039 Knollwood Drive no naed and no benefit; Mr. Thomas M. Nelson <br />7060 Knollwood Drive no benefit. <br />Mayor Hodges asked for those who favored this improvement. <br />Mr. B. Sawyer -7151 Knollwood Drive original <br />complaintant stated his property was being flooded from water from the <br />street, the Village needed this improvement now for progress, area <br />development and local industry& Mr. Bernad Falck 7111 Knollwood <br />stated the Village needs this improvement. <br />Mayor Hodges closed the hearing and stated that a decision <br />would be made at the next meeting. <br />Mr' Ervin Herbst submitted preliminary plans for a Supper Club <br />to be located at Highways #8 and #10. He requested approval of the <br />general layout. Mr. Herbst was instructed to bring plans drawn by a <br />Registered Architect to the August 19, Agenda Meeting. Building <br />Inspector, Chris Piehowski asked about the current plans for the <br />extension of County Road H. The Engineer notified him that the <br />County Engineer had investigated the new proposed changes. <br />Request for a special permit received from Mr. John M. <br />Eliason 8323 Eastwood Road- to allow him to live in a Mobile home <br />while building. Motion by Hodges to grant the request and allow Mr. <br />Eliason to live in a mobile home for 90 days. Seconded by Sullivan <br />3 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />Request from Mr. Joseph Christy 2365 Sherwood to have a <br />horse on the property. The Attorney stated that Mr. Christy must have <br />a certified list of property owners within 300 feet so that notices <br />could be sent out. Motion by Malvin to set the first meeting in <br />September if Mr. Christy has complied with all the requirements. <br />Seconded by Sullivan. 3 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />Mr. Hodges read the monthly Police report fcr July. <br />Mr. Hodges stated that Walbon agreed to pay for the sodding and <br />repairing some water appurtenances, as well as moving the warming <br />house to the corner of Oakwood Drive and Quincy, therefore the Clerk <br />should release Walbon's check covering Estimate #3. <br />Mr. Malvin reported that there were 700 registered for <br />t swimming at Lakeside Park. Spring Lake Park Village received money <br />for Lakeside Park from Anoka County. The Attorney was instructed to <br />investigate 1 4 <br />igal,e Lo aei.erniine cif ilia. Anoka County C, iitriLuLlon to Lakeside <br />Park should be separate from that of the Spring Lake Park Village <br />contribution <br />
