Seconded by Hodges. <br />4 Ayes. <br />the snow -bird ordinance, and <br />Department of status of said <br />A request from the Village of Shoreview for water for their skating <br />rinks was referred to Mr. Skiba. <br />Mr. Piehowski reported that a house at 8145 Groveland Rd. has been <br />condemned. <br />The Engineer presented a summary of bills on recent projects and the <br />items were discussed.(Copy on file) <br />The Engineer was instructed to investigate the missing valve at the <br />intersection of Woodcrest and Red Oak Dr., and to request payment from <br />the contractor responsible. <br />A modification to the control panel for the Wells #1 and 2 was re- <br />quested by the Engineer. Motion by Blanchard to order modification at <br />approxime to cost of $196,50. Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. <br />A letter from the Post nffice regarding possible change for Mounds <br />View postal service was read and filed. <br />Motion by Blanchard to pay bills in the amount of $52,893.29. Seconded <br />by Sullivan. 4 Ayes. <br />A letter from the Ramsey County Engineer regarding county road changes <br />was referred to the Village E gineer. <br />At 9:30 P.M. the Mayor opened the Public Hearing for the changing of <br />Ordinance #60, Section 1, Paragraph 4 Lakeside Park. There was no one <br />present who wished to speak either pro or con on the subjest in the <br />audience. Motion by Malvin to direct the Village Attorney to draw up <br />Ordinance change for Ordinance #60, allowing the Lakeside Park Commission <br />to accept bids for any work up to $1,000.00 instead of the present <br />$500.00. Seconded by Sullivan, 4 Ayes. <br />Mayor Hodges closed the Public Hearing. <br />The Attorney was instructed to contact the property owners on Water <br />Project 1963-.2 informing them of the cost of the proposed project and <br />requesting them to state whether or not said project should be under- <br />taken at this time. <br />Motion by Malvin to adjourn.
