PROCEEDINGS 'E THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY C(irNTY, MINNES'TA 0 J 0 14 1 <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called <br />to order by Mayor Hodges at 8:00 P,M., December 23, 1963 at 2401 High- <br />way #10. <br />Present were: <br />Mayor: <br />Clerk: <br />Trustee: <br />Trustee: <br />Also Present: <br />Attorney: <br />Engineer: <br />Public Works: <br />Administrative Clerk: <br />Motion by Malvin to accept the <br />sented. Seconded by Sullivan. <br />Donald C. Hodges <br />Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />John L. Sullivan <br />Perry Malvin <br />Richard Meyers <br />Les Knutson <br />Walter Skiba <br />Paul Boog <br />minutes of December 9, 1963 as pre <br />4 Ayes. <br />Motion by Sullivan to accept the minutes of the special meeting of <br />December 16, 1963 as presented. Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. <br />Mr. Samuel Fried, 2069 Sherwood Road, stated that he and several <br />neighbors had not received notice of the sewer hearing on December 19. <br />Referred to the Clerk for investigation. <br />Mr. Eigenheer presented a proposed plot plan for council approval. <br />This was referred to the Planning Commision for study and recommendation. <br />Motion by Malvin to allow Mr. Eigenheer to install and use a shallow <br />well system on a temporary basis. Village water to be installed as soon <br />as water is available. Seconded by Hodges. 4 Ayes. <br />Mr. Eigenheer expressed his agreement to the above motion. <br />The Mayor announced that the lights would be installed at the skat- <br />ing rinks as soon as possible. <br />The Engineer will contact the contractor responsible and, if <br />necessary, the bonding company of the contractor, in regards to the Oak- <br />wood skating rink not being properly graded. <br />The Attorney was directed to contact N.S.P. regarding the minimum <br />gas rate being charged for well #2 prior to the time when well #2 was <br />servicable. <br />The Engineer presented Mr. Skiba with a handbook on methods <br />for Water Works Superintendents. <br />Change order #2 for well #2, which was approved at the last regular <br />meeting, was signed by the Mayor and Clerk. <br />At the Attorney's recommendation: <br />Motion by Blanchard to include in Mr. Chestik's casement the follow- <br />ing: "If, in the future, Mr. Chestik decides to subdivide his property <br />into 3 lots, the Council will waive the 100' frontage requirement." <br />by Sullivan. 4 Ayes. <br />
