Flowers, representing Gulf 011, requested permission to <br />erect a service station at the intersection of Highway #8 and #10 on <br />11.60 acres. He suggested the possibility of further development of a <br />restaurant, motel, and shopping center. Motion by Blanchard to 'set a <br />public hearing for a special use permit for above request on March 23, <br />1964 at 9:00 P.M., and to request the Planning Cnmmissien to prepare <br />a report r, this for presentation at that time. Motiongby Sullivan to adopt Ordinance #110. <br />Seconded by Rusted. 5 Ayes. <br />Mr. Meyers reporte-'. that the Dedolph case is now in court. <br />Mr. Skiba presented an r ;ffer by the Waterous Company to repaint the <br />2')O fire hydrants in the village at a cost to the village of $1.62 per <br />hydrant. He was directed to determine if this would be a reasonable price <br />in comparison with ^they crmmunities expert ^nce, and to report at the <br />next regular meeting. <br />Motion by Sullivan to authorize Mr. Skiba to attend the University <br />of Minnesota extension schc -1 for water -perators, and the sewage works <br />operators sohnol, with the village to pay all expenses incurred. <br />Seconded by LaVaque. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to pay bills presented in total amount of <br />$8,399.60.
