-3 Ot.10052 <br />funds be returned to this Village so that payment could be made. <br />Mr.LeVaqud read the minutes of tLe Planning Commission meeting. <br />(On file) <br />Mr. Sullivan reported on the Lakeside Park program, and stated that <br />Mr. James Johnson has not attended any meetings since his appointment. <br />After some discussion, Motion was made by Sullivan to remove Mr. Johnson <br />from his Position on the Lakeside Park Commission and to appoint Mrs. <br />Florence Peterson, 2277 Knoll Drive, to fill Mr. Johnson's unexpire'' <br />term. Seconded by LaVaque. 5 Ayes. <br />The Clerk's office is to notify Mr. Johnson of the Council action. <br />Mr. Sullivan reported that if legally possible, the Spring Lake Park <br />Jaycees would operate a soft drink and popcorn concession stand at <br />Lakeside this summer. <br />Motion by Rusted to have the Civil Defense conduct an Auto Saf <br />Check program, with the Village to pay expenses incurred from the Gen- <br />eral Fund. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes. <br />The problem of issuing burning permits was referred to the Police <br />Commission to contact the Spring Lake Park Fire Department and come up <br />with a workable solution. <br />Motion by Rusted to concur with the Building Inspector's recommenda- <br />tion and allow variance at 7927 Eastwood Road. Variance allows 6 foot <br />side yard set back. Seconded by Sullivan. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by LaVaque to concur with the Building Inspector's recommend <br />ation and allow variance at 5386 Quincy Street. Variance allows 8 foot <br />side yard set back. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Rusted to concur with the Building Inspector's recommend- <br />ation and allow variance at 5053 Rainbow Lane. Variance allows 4 foot <br />clearance between buildings. Seconded by LaVaque. 5 Ayes. <br />Mr. Skiba requested Council opinion on a shallow well for gardening <br />and lawn Dare. <br />The Council stated that they felt a permit was not required as long <br />as the water was not for human consumption. <br />Mr. Knutson presented: <br />1. Copies of the proposed sewer ordinances for Council study. <br />2. Possibility of designation of Edgewood Drive as a State Aid <br />Road as the Village has 47/100 of a mile not designated. <br />3. Office copies of Schedule A -B -C Sanitary Sewer plans. <br />A bill for vent work on the Municipal Building from Sassco Co. is <br />to be paid and back charged against contractor, advised the Attorney. <br />
