PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Special Meeting <br />of the Village Council was called to order at 6:30 P.M. Boog <br />R:.chard Meyers <br />Wally Dornfield <br />0vf, <br />Mayor Hodges called for all sealed bids to be received. The... <br />Bond Consultant presented two bids. Mayor Hodges called for further <br />bids. None appeared. The Mayor requested the Bond Consultant to open <br />and read the bids received. The result:, were: <br />Bidders Net Interest Total Cost <br />1. First National Bank of St. Paul 3,2375 $101,981.25 <br />2. American National Bank 3.1498 99,219.75 <br />The Mayor asked for any bidders not read. None appeared. <br />The Mayor recessed the Bid hearing until the bids could be tabulated,. <br />Motion by Rustad to adopt Resolution 167 authorizing <br />the Mayor to sign the permit application W -54 Minnesota Conservation <br />Department Division of Water Work in the beds of Public Waters <br />drainage improvement; to relocate and enclose in conduit. Seconded <br />by Schott. 5 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />Motion by Rustad to authorize payment to the Part -Time <br />Police Officers a vacation check equivalent to two weeks pay. <br />Seconded by La Vanue. 5 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />Motion by Rustad to appoint Donald G. Erickson 2261 Lois Dr. <br />on the Police Commission to replace James Monson. <br />Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />Motion by Planchard to instruct the Engineer to prepare <br />a preliminary report on the extension of Water Service to the Ball <br />Diamond at Lakesdie Park. Seconded by Schott. 5 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />Clerk Blanchard reported that 1027 children registered for <br />swimming at Lakeside Park, 632 children were from Mounds View and <br />Spring Lake Park, 395 children were from other Villages. <br />Instruct the Clerk's Office to notify the Spring Lake Park <br />!ire Department to met witt. the Council, Monday August 3, 1964 at <br />7:30 P.M. <br />
