The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />called to order by Mayor Hodges at 8:00 P.M., September 28, 1964 at <br />2401 Highway 10. <br />Present Were: <br />Mayor: <br />Clerk: <br />Trustee: <br />Trustee: <br />Turstee: <br />Also Present: <br />Engineer: <br />Attorney: <br />Adm. Blanchard <br />Charles La Vaque <br />Ingram Rustad <br />Arthur Schott <br />Shelly Boehm <br />Richard Meyers <br />Paul E. Boog <br />Irene Edberg <br />Walter Skiba <br />U1/4M1U5 <br />Motion by Rustad to approve minutes of September 14, as <br />presented. Seconded by Schott. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Rustad to grant variance allowing a 2 foot side yard <br />setback to Mr. Rosario DuMoulin 5080 Eastwood Road. <br />Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by La Vaque to appoint James E. Burggraff 1850 Spring <br />f`;; View Lane to fill the unexpired term of W. Weibel on the Planning <br />Commission. (term to expire December 31, 1965) Seconded by Rustad. <br />5 Ayes. <br />Mr. Charles Jackson, Civil Defense Director, presented a <br />list of the activities of the Mounds View School District, that the <br />Mounds View Civil Defense men will be attending. <br />A letter from the Highway Department notifying the Civil <br />Defense of an award they will receive for conducting the Vehicle <br />Safety Check was received. <br />At 7:30 P.M., September 29, 1964 the Civil Defense will have <br />a practice emergency communication alert at the Village Hall. <br />Motion by La Vaque to approve the specs and advertise for bids <br />for a new pick -up truck for the Water Department. Bid closing at 8:00 P.M. <br />November 9, 1964. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Schott to send a work order to the County Engineer for <br />1. Patching Longview- Woodale area. <br />2. Patching Quincy Street between Hillview and County Road I <br />3. Patching Oakwood and Quincy intersection. <br />A work order to Northern States Power Company for <br />1. Street Light at intersection of Greenwood Drive and Sherwood Road <br />and to direct the Public Works Department to place "Dead End" sign <br />3n Gloria Circle. Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes. <br />The proposed special use permit for the Colonial Village <br />Mobile Home Park was read and discussed. Motion by Blanchard, upon <br />the Village Attorneys recommendation, to grant the special use permit <br />for the Colonial Village Mobile Home Park and authorize the Mayor and <br />Clerk to execute same. Seconded by La Vaaue. 5 Avac_ <br />
