-2- <br />Mr. Rustad gave a short report on the informal North C `0 11 3 <br />Suburban Hospital District informational meeting held on October 7, 1964. <br />It is the feeling of the Council that the actions and efforts <br />of the Hospital District have been in the best interest of the Village <br />and that the Council stands behind them 10096. (Letter to this effect <br />to go to Mrs. Wall, Secretary of Hospital District.) <br />Mr. Boehm advised the Council that the Ziegler Company has <br />ordered the necessary equipment to make Well f#2 operative, but a delay <br />in receipt of these parts is expected. <br />Mr. La Vaque stated that in a recent welfare case in the <br />Village, the Police Department and the Ramsey County Sheriffs Answering <br />Service performed outstanding service to the Village and a letter will <br />be sent regarding this matter to both departments. <br />Mr, Skiba was directed to prepare a list of roads needing <br />repair and to refer it to Mr. Schott. <br />Mr. Schott gave a report on the League Meeting held on `)ctober <br />6, 1964 and attended by Blanchard, Boog, La Vaque, and Schott. <br />The Attorney was iven a copy of the Arden Hills Liquor 'hid. <br />for study ar. recommendation to see if Village could adopt it. <br />The repair of Red Oak Drive from Woodcrest to County Road H -.2 <br />was referred to the Engineer for study and action. <br />The possible connection of the new storm sewer with the <br />existing storm drainage in the Ironwood Plat area was referred to the <br />Engineer for study A <br />Motion by Rustad, upon recorinlnc! .tion of the Attorney to <br />authorize the Mayor and Clerk to enter into a contract the the Board <br />of Water Commissioners, City of St. Paul, tom-- crossings of St. <br />Paul water line. and to naopt ReolUtiah <br />Seconded by La Vaque. 4,Ayes. <br />The agreement with the Village of Shoreview in regards to <br />35 W crossing of storm sewer conduit returned to Attorney for further <br />clarification. <br />Mr. Meyers presented the form to be used for Sanitary Sewer <br />Petitions. <br />A letter from Turbomatic Company was referred to the Engineer <br />and Attorney for recommendation at the next regular meeting. <br />(letter on file) <br />The Civil Defense informed the Council that they would assist <br />the Police Department `_n Halloween Street patrolling. <br />The Engineers report on 1964 -2, Water and Street Improvement <br />Project was received and filed. <br />Motion by Blanchard on recommendation of the Engineer, to <br />accept the low bid of C.S.McCrossan, Inc. in the amount of $26,917.40 <br />for Water and Street Improvement Project 1964 -2 and to authorizgg the <br />Mayor and Clerk to execute contracts.
