PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIE'? <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />called to order by Mayor Hodges at 8:00 P.M., February 23, 1965 at <br />2401 Highway 10. <br />ROLL CALL OF OFFICIALS: <br />Mayor: <br />Clerk: <br />Trustee: <br />Also Present: <br />Attorney: <br />Adm. Clerk! <br />Engineer: <br />Public "orks: <br />Donald C. Hodges <br />Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Charles La Vaque <br />Perry Malvin <br />Ingram Rustaci (arrived at 8:50 P.M.) <br />Richard Meyers <br />Paul E. Boog <br />Shelly Boehm <br />"alter Skiba <br />Mr. Rustad arrived from NSSSD iieeting at 8:50 P.M. <br />000023 <br />Motion by Malvin to approve minutes of February 8, 1965 <br />as presented. Seconded by Hodges. 4 Ayes. <br />Mr. Bud Ramacher, operator of Bel Rae Ballroom, explained <br />his sewage problem to the Council and requested the Village to as %at <br />'m in obtaining and outlet. <br />Clerk's Office directed to contact the Village of Fridley <br />pursuant to above request. <br />Mr. Jackson, C.D. Director, informed the Council that contrary <br />to any rumors the C.D. organization is not involved with the Public <br />Examiners petition. <br />Ax. La Vaque read the minutes of the Planning Commission. <br />(on file) <br />No action taken on any requests or applications due to the <br />fact that said applications are not complete. <br />Hs. Hodges reported that skating rinks would only be open <br />on weekends from now on. <br />Mr. Glen Dawson, chairman of Police Civil Service Commission, <br />gave a report on the activities of the Commission. Points covered <br />'eluded: <br />1. Rule and Regulations for Commission referred to Meyers <br />for changes. <br />2. Advertisied for Patrolman. (2 positions open) <br />3. 51 applications received. <br />4. Arranging time for interviews and tests. <br />ivlr. La Vaque reported the following: <br />1. A complete road by road survey was held by „'r. Skiba <br />and Mr. Le Vaque to determine repairs needed. <br />2. A list of all roads needing attention. <br />Motion by Malvin to prepare "Certificate of Appreciation" <br />for Arthur Schott and J. Sullivan for sc.. as Trustees for the <br />'11age. Seconded by Blanchard. 4 Ayes. <br />
