Clerk: <br />Attorney: <br />Engineer: <br />Treasurer: <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />called to order by Mayor Hodges at 8:00 P.M., April 26, 1965 at <br />2401 Highway 10. <br />Donald C. Comstock <br />Irene Edberg <br />0J0044 <br />Motion Of La Vague to approve the minutes of April 12, 1965. <br />Seconded by Blanchard. 4 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />Mayor Hodges opened the Public Hearing to rezone a parcel <br />of property on Highway 10 from B -1 to B -3 for the purpose of office <br />Ind warehouse. Clerk Blanchard read the legal published notice and <br />reported that notices had been sent to property owners within 250 feet <br />of this property. Mr. Charles Facer, 2138 Highway 10 stated he had not <br />received a notice. <br />After discussion, Attorney Richard Meyers, reported that <br />according to the legal notice as published, the Council could not legally <br />hold a public hearing to rezone the property. <br />Motion by Hodges to reset the Public Hearing date to rezone <br />this parcel of property located on Highway 10 May 24, 1965 at <br />9:00 P.M.. Seconded by La Vague. 4 Ayes Motion Carried. <br />Trustee Rustad reported that the NSSSD had let the contracts <br />to build their lift station in Mounds View. He also reported that some <br />legislation is in progress to increase the area of NSSSD. <br />The Council answered questions about street repair, sewer <br />construction and tax deliquent land. <br />Mayor Hodges reported on the Fiouridation Hearing hell on <br />April 19, 1965. Mayor Hodges stated he thought it looks safe to add <br />flouride to the Municipal Water System. He said it would be more <br />democratic if this choice was put on the ballot at the next election. <br />The Council should not request further petitions from the residents. <br />Trustee RufAad f- that there was no rush to install <br />flouridation. Trustee La Vague questioned whether flouridation was <br />pass medication. <br />Motion by lodges to pay the Little League Baseball Organization <br />the full amount budgeted, $250.00 to help pay for various baseball <br />equipment. Seconded by Rustad. 4 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />
