PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Special Meeting <br />of the Village Council was called to order by Mayor Hodges at 3:40 p.m. <br />May 11, 1965 at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway 10. <br />Present Were: <br />Mayor: <br />Clerk: <br />Trustee: <br />Also Present: <br />Adm. Allen <br />Walter Skiba <br />Ernest Grabowski <br />A lengthy discussion was held on methods of removal and <br />types of Federal Financial Assistance regarding the hazards caused by <br />the tornado. The Emergency Planning Coordinator, Allen reviewed <br />the eligibility projec applications, advances of funds, and <br />preparation of claims. <br />Motion by Malvin to approve the contract with Herbst <br />Construction Company t. remove the debris and wreckage causing a <br />public health and safety hazard, the cost not to exceed $72,500.00. <br />Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />The next meeting is to be held on Wednesday May 12, 1965 <br />at 4:00 P.M. <br />Motion by Blanchard to adjourn.
