Mr. Charles Jackson, Civil Defense Director, reported that the :new walkie talkie radio had been turned over to the Ramsey County Civil Defense to replace one stolen during disaster work. Mr. Jackson also reported that 100 to 150 residents aided in Saturdays unsuccessful search for the missing Shoreview girl. Only three unclaimed autos remain behind the Village Hall. and owners' will be contacted this week to remove them. After their removal, snow fence will be removed by the Ramsey County Engineering, Department. The Engineer, Mr. Comstock, reported the following: 1. Water table North of Sherwood and West of Long Lake Road is almost five feet higher than normal. Suggested a change order allowing a conduit instead of open ditching.. Motion ,by Blanchard to authorize the Engineer to prepare a change order on surface water drainage project 1964-1, Schedule A covering the above item. Seconded by Hodges. 5'Ayes. Mr. Meyers reported the following: 1. O.E.P. papers signed Friday, estimate cost is $85,000 for debris removal and related items but actual cost may go to $100,000. 2. Rep. Karth has indicated that he will give all possible assistance to processing of this application. 2. Demolition will be completed this week. 3. Rubble removal should be completed within three weeks. 4. A resident stopped the contractor on the Arden Avenue extension Surface Water Drainage Project 1964 -1 Motion by Rustad to authorize the Attornry to institute unlawful detainer action against Mr. Adolph Flink and Mrs. Laura Flink,` 8255 Red Oak Drive. Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes. 5. Condemnation awards made but may be appealed. Suggests 3/4 payment to avoid interest charges in case of favorable appeal decisions by any affected persons. Motion by La Vaque to authroize Mayor, Clerk and Treasurer to sign checks for 3/4 condemnation award as requested by Attorney. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes. 6. An amendment to the mobile home park ordinance was presented for study. 7. The agreement between Mounds View and Spring Lake Park regarding sewer on Hillview Road atWest end of the Village was presented. Motion by Rustad to authorize the Clerk and Mayor to execute said agreement. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes. 8. An amendment to the building code Ordinance 15 ,vas presented and discussed. Motion by Blanchard to adopt Ordinance 125. Seconded by Rusted, 5 Ayes. 9. A letter from the -1 and filed. Motion by La Vaque to agreement with the First Nationai r irn agent for the $1,860,000 First National Bank of St. Paul was authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute Bank of St. Paul naming that bank as Eonu 51... Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes.
